Billing & plans

Your subscription — not each workspace — holds the plan: an included credit allowance, seat limit, workspace limit, and API rate limit, shared across every workspace under it. Only the subscription owner can change plans or payment, from Billing.

Upgrading from Free opens Stripe Checkout. A paid-to-paid upgrade applies immediately with prorated billing — no redirect. A downgrade is scheduled for the end of the current billing period instead of applying right away, and can be cancelled before it takes effect. Managing payment methods always opens the Stripe Billing Portal, and past invoices (with PDF and receipt links) are available from the same page.

A downgrade is blocked upfront if current usage would exceed the target plan's limits: seats, workspaces, connected social accounts, storage used, or an enabled embeddable studio on a plan that doesn't support it.

Plans also support an annual billing cycle (10× the monthly price — two months free) and a paid add-on for extra connected social accounts beyond a plan's included limit, billed prorated and carried over through a downgrade.

Your plan's current usage and limits are shown right on the Billing page. If you integrate with the machine API, an API key can read the same numbers from GET /v1/me — see Credits.
